Pere Ardiaca Foundation actitvity is framed in the process of theoric reelaboration of the catalan and european Left. We intend to produce ideas, arguments and propositions to widen democratic radicality and for the social transformation of Catalonia from a class, ecologist and gender perspective.

An anlysis and action to find the place of Catalonia in Europe, promoting its paper as a social, cultural and economic motor, is also in our scope. We are a center generating ideas, interchanges, researches and other initiatives to deepen knowledge of the changes taking place in Catalonia, Europe and the World.

Pere Ardiaca Foundation objectives can be resumed in four principal working lines. First line, in which the Area of History has a major role, is the recovery of Historic Memory. Second one means to become a focus and a cross point of transformative though in our coutry. Third consists in the launch of projects of social content to promote citizien's participation as well as democratic and progressive values. Last one is related to international issues, with activities about Europe, the World and Coopertation.

Foundation objectives are based in these four lines, contributing to the transformative project from different perspectives composing it: gender equality, enviromental concern, integration and rights of last arrived citiziens, labour health and rights, housing, quality health care and public education, old age care services, youth rights, solidarity, peace and democratic participation. Foundation is involved in the construction of dialogue espaces among different sensibilities and cultures of the social and politic lefts; promoting alternative social society, redefining the dialogue and interaction frames for the relation between political forces and social movements. Always from a doble view : theoric and propositive, as well as social practise.
